FEW DATES FOR YOUR DIARY
WEDNESDAY 15th JUNE - JOGSCOTLAND 5K, Inverness Bught Park @ 7.00pm
This is the ideal introduction to competing in a mass event, in old money it's only 3 miles which for EVERYONE in Muir of Ord Jogscotland is well achievable, remember you run further than this twice every week, a bonus for this race is that its completely flat and its great FUN. £10 entry can either be done on-line or in the registration area on the night. We have historically had a huge turn-out for this event so come on lets keep up the tradition. Please remember that there will not be an organised run in the village this evening.
SUNDAY 19th JUNE - GLEN MORAY 10K, FORRES
A well organised event which also incorporates a 10 mile race, usually a few hundred take part, registration can be done in advance or on the day at the Forres sports centre, good course of mixed tarain all on roads around Forres ending back at the sports centre, really, really good munch after in the centre. Mike Gage and Richard both won thier age catagories last year so lets repeat this again in every catagory !!!
WEDNESDAY 29th JUNE - TAIN GALA 10K, TAIN 7.00PM
Another evening event which is part of the Tain gala week, has always been a reasonable turn-out of local to Ross-Shire runners, so that includes us ! This course heads out through the town for a mile or so which is only slightly hilly then heads off out and back along a long flat road and ending up back through part of the town to the finish. Hot and cold refreshments and snacks have always been available afterwards before prizegiving. Entry was only £6 last year and can only be done on the night. Great alternative to your weekly muir run.
