Please note that the Thursday morning sessions have stopped for the summer. Look out for these sessions starting again when the schools return in August!

Note also that there will be no Wednesday afternoon session this week.

Saturday 5th July: Parkrun - 5K at Bught Park Inverness at 9.30 am. Register on-line (see Inverness parkrun under Results page for information).

Monday 7th JulyMeet in the square at 6.45pm sharp for a variety of off-road routes from the village.

Wednesday 9th - evening run only : meet in the village square at 6.45pm sharp for various off road routes from the village.

Next Saturday- Look out for Mike D carrying the Commonwealth Baton in Inverness! There is a special Parkrun event to celebrate -see the info. below from Parkrun:-

"The QBR is due to pass the Bught Park, virtually opposite our Start position, on Saturday, 12 July on its way to the Queen's Park stadium, where it will join in children's activities for 30 minutes. This will also be our 150th running of the Inverness parkrun.

Although precise timings are not available, we understand that it will arrive at our Start at about 8.45 a.m. This is an unprecedented opportunity to highlight Inverness parkrun and, in particular, that it encompasses a wide spectrum of runners; men, women and children, all shapes and sizes, people with pushchairs and with dogs.

It would be great to have a photo of a mock Start, featuring the Baton being carried past the Start while, in the background, there is a mass start of these runners. We are arranging a photograph and text for publication.

If you would like to take part, please arrive in time, with your child, pushchair or dog at the ready!"
